Guest guest
>>>On Behalf Of But, I finally had to let some things go and focus on my kids. I spent so much time on this matter for 3 years that I didn't spend precious time with my kids. I sat at this computer, and on the phone everyday, 7 days a week, from 8 am-midnight. So, I had to let something's go. What I let go was the things that were upsetting to me. But, I do believe that those that have the energy, and the ability, and new victims should take a moment to write them.>>>>>>> Hi . I believe you took the right action by focusing on your children rather than trying to help initiate changes in the country. I think that we need to first concentrate on our health, our family's health and make sure we have safe shelter, good medical care and the basic necessities so we can improve our health and the health of our loved ones. After we have taken the necessary actions to improve health we can and should if possible start becoming active in political matters and sharing with others our experience and knowledge. Trying to do everything at one time is impossible. Lol I'm preaching to myself and have had to learn the hard way to sit down and prioritize my time. I still have to do this and decide what comes first and how much time can I devote to outside activities rather than my home, my family and our health. I also have to watch not trying to be the busy little bee going from one project to another (a problem for me) but rather focusing on only a few areas and becoming the best I can to help many others. There are so many of us with different abilities and talents and rather than all of us doing everything we should appreciate the individual talents and knowledge, unite and share our knowledge. Like a large corporation with the many divisions and departments and knowledge levels. We'll be much stronger, powerful and productive by encouraging individual learning and knowledge rather than trying to be superwomen and supermen with our illnesses. Will also reduce our stress level. For example I would never try to know what Carl or Jeff have learned and are doing, or some of you who are really experts in contacting our elected officials such as Sharon nor will I ever by a physician and have the expertise of Dr. Shoemaker or Dr. Schaller, etc. Lol having said all that I don't want anyone to misunderstand me please that writing letters to our elected officials is not a top priority. It needs to be done and there is strength in numbers. All I mean to convey is for those who are not able for whatever reasons shouldn't feel guilty. In fact, those who are the experts could provide guidance and possible samples of letters/emails that should be sent for those who do not have this expertise. Just my thoughts, Rosie
