Guest guest
I have been looking for answers, and Im glad to say that Dr. Shoemakers letter to AAAAI help answer questions for me. mainly because my reaction to some foods and many other things, seemed to all be more about the mold in them, than them theriselfs. I no longer want to call what happens with my stomach, ALLERGIES. If I did, I would have to say its a extrenme allergic responce to anything that has even the tinyest amount of mold in it. but I see it now, even more,as irritants. exposure to toxic molds is a exposure to a toxin, that damages your whole body, attacking the weaker organs first, and at the same time, slowly distroying all the others. and because it colonizes in your body and lives there, and also with the candida and yeast, which are also fungi, I can see that it would be almost immpossable to tottally rid your body of it all and than build up a immunity. yes, some molds cause allergies, and/or aggervate allergies that you may of had before.(molds that are allergenic) just like some molds cause asthma and/or aggervate the asthma that you may of allready had.(like aspergillus) mycotoxins are what distroy your organs and cause infections which can effect any organ, the weaker ones first, and also some toxic molds are known to effect certain organs more, like aspergillus(lungs). yes, I now have severe reactions (allergies, according to unquilified doctors) to molds. MCS is a severe reaction to any toxic chemicals.(I know someone who has MCS from working around toxic chemicals at work, nothing to do with mold) MCS is caused by exposure to 2 or more chemicals at one time.toxic chemicals include toxins produced by molds.and I got it from exposure to more than one toxin produceing mold. the only explanation I can find to explain why a MCS causes the same reaction to my stomach as eating foods with mold or yeast in them(like corn which is known to have stachoboctrys, fusarium, and aspergillus molds in it)(all molds that I was exposed to in my homes) is just what it is, a irritateing reaction to molds/mycotoxins,and yeast. I also now have the answer to why tests for things like fibromyalgia came back negitive, even tough a mayo doctor just knew I had it because I had the same reaction as someone does, with fibromyalgia, when he pressed on the several pressure points(glands) and it flared up and aggervated the mold toxins that are lodged in my glands, quickly makeing me very sore all over and unable to bend or hardly walk. this is a " like " symptom givin by unqualified doctors. as are any other illnesses that come back negative if they have a test for it. this is one of the reasons that I have not had caterax sergery, Im not convenced that , that is really what it is. it was dignosed by a ungualified doctor. Leaky gut syndrome is another illness that the mayo doctor was sure I had but tests came back negitive. because they also had a stool sample with blood in it, they said possable LGS and dieerhia with blood. I refuse to be misdignosed anymore, I want real answers and real help. > > > > Hi: > > > > Yes, most people who have MCS have food allergies; some have very severe > > allergies and can only consume a handful of foods. > > > > Your symptoms unfortunately are very typical and honestly not as severe as > > many have. > > > > Since you know you have a food allergy (I would call it an intolerance) to > > corn and yeast.
