Guest guest
Add aroma #4 10 drops tid in juice or water. Dick Thom Beaverton, OR cancer, AI Dear UNDA Group, I am seeing a 57y.o. female, originally presenting with 'kidney problems'. She was diagnosed in 1985 with I.C. and had a urinary diversion in 1987 (her bladder is now non-functional and she has a pouch in place). At the same time they found a tumor in her right atrium and she had open heart surgery to remove it. She has had kidney stones blasted twice in the past and a bad kidney infection 2 years ago. She has been on so many antibiotics now that she feels she is immune to them. Pt has had a chronic kidney infection since April/04 (it flares up, goes away, flares up...cyclical) - they did an U/S and found there are no stones, but are actually calcified cysts. She went to an infectious disease centre and found bacteria in the cysts. Her lower back is sore (radiating to her groin) - she describes it as a burning, constant aching sensation. No fever. There is a slight odor to the urine and it is frothy. Slight nitrites in urine. Her energy has been very low and her stress quite high (due to her job and her frustration with her kidneys). Pt exercises 3x/week to relieve stress. Pt currently is on blood pressure lowering meds. She has a family hx of high BP and heart disease (father). Otherwise family hx is unremarkable. She seems to have a history of cysts (fibroids and breast cysts as well). This is what I have done with her so far: -anti-inflammatory diet -lemon + water on rising -HMF -Vit C -Castor oil packs daily -Undas: 2,7,15,37 (with initial infection) -Now she is just finishing 2,20,258 - her infection is slowly getting better, but I want to work on strengthening her kidneys. Any suggestions?? Thank you. Regards, Dr. Ashely Gordon, BSc, ND Squamish & Whistler, B.C.
Guest guest
, hydrotherapy with alternating hot/cold over the kidneys in the shower. Also some modified qi gong daily with rubbing the hands together to get them warm and placing over the kidneys to let it soak in (ideally at the end of shaking qi gong or rebounding so the Qi is flowing) can help strengthen. In terms of things to take Unda # 44 (possibly followed by #45), and consider Ribes Nigrum.
