Guest guest
As you all know there are so many environmental illness discussion groups for adults; but none for children. After having the pleasure of meeting and her precious two children who are restricted from playing with other children due to their MCS I thought why not start a group for the young ones so they could talk and support each other as we do. We adults can understand our illness and the isolation so many of us have; however the young children cannot comprehend as we and they need to socialize with their peers. After much research and brainstorming I'm delighted to announce we have the official discussion group for MCS and toxic injured children under 13 completed. Our main concern is privacy and safety for the children from spammers, lurkers and sexual offenders. We've done everything possible to protect them. The group is private, membership must be approved, a pending questionnaire will be emailed to all pending members and both the child and a parent must complete it and return to the group owners for approval. All posts are fully moderated by the List Owners and moderators. Parents are not allowed to post. It's a group for the children to talk to each other, a cyberspace playground. Of course we are strongly suggesting the parents moderate their children's internet activities and read the emails the children receive in their inbox. We just opened today. Have 3 official members ('s 2 children and other child with severe MCS who is home schooled). All members who have children 13 and under with MCS or toxic injury please take a look at the new group, consider having your children join and give them a place a talk and socialize. Below is the official description for our group: Many of you have children with MCS and we know how hard that can be on them. The following " Aunties " have joined together to create a group for the kids. Joyce jamgf626@... Rosie Healthier4All@... childmcs@... Lourdes " Sal " salvadorlourdes@... It is a fully moderated group for kids under 13... a place where kids can talk with their peers about MCS, play games, or just have fun chatting with other kids. Please read more about it at the site before contacting us as we are busy moderating. You can check us out at: KIDSWITHMCS/ Rosie PS: Thanks KC for letting me post this. I think this group will help many children who are isolated and feel they are alone.

Guest guest
On Behalf Of ssr3351@... Hi Rosie, What a wonderful idea!! You may want to send this info to the Center for School Mold Help _www.schoolmoldhelp.org_ (http://www.schoolmoldhelp.org) they may know some children that would be interested. Sue >>>>>> Thanks Sue. There are so many kids out there isolated not understanding they are thousands of similar children and they need to talk to each other. I'm hoping the word will spread and many parents will allow their children to join the group. I did everything possible to make this a safe group for them, every post is moderated, the pending questionnaire hopefully will help us to screen any sex offenders and of course the parents still need to monitor their children's PC activities. Last night we had a welcome message from a 6 year old. He dictated and his Mom typed. Was so cute, his last words were " Mom says it's time for me to go to bed " . We are asking for the month and day of their birth and will have a birthday party for them. It's going to be a lot of work but for me it's worth it and the 3 other Aunties who have volunteered feel the same way. We care for these little ones. Please pass the word and Thank you for the link. I'll email them today. Huggies, Rosie KIDSWITHMCS/
