Thanks, Jeanine. Low stomach acid can lead to bacterial overgrowth which can

lead to stomach problems, I have read. Since my (my son's too) appetite is going

up on CSM, I was thinking I must be producing more stomach acid now.

I haven't had problems with foods like corn and wheat but have a problem with

soy. I don't eat soy much anyway. My problems were mostly lack of appetite and

indigestion with fatty foods etc. I must be producing more bile too now. Wow !

This is all slowly making sense.

Thanks

Jay

Hi Jay, I was dignosed with acid reflux, which I dont have, but my

stomach was a mess, rolling, growling, gasey, dierrhia, later

dignosed with food allergies, not sure this is really what it is, but

helped some to omit these from my diet. corn, and yeast products.

hope this

helps.

I have low gastric acid product and very slow gut

motility. My input which doesn't 100% align with this

post is that I have been on CSM now since mid January.

I take 2 doses per day (although I did jump down to

1/2 a dose at a time briefly when I seemed to have

resurgence of symptoms). I had no reaction to the med

although some people have been getting it through a

compounding pharmacy so this is an option depending on

how you are reacting. Good luck.
