Guest guest
Barbara thank you so much for going to so much work for me. I totally agree that my friend should not take this drug and I need to find some article for her that discusses chemically injured brains and why prozac is not good for such patients so her neurologist won't label her a non-compliant patient. I read the PDR you sent on Prozac. The side effects listed are enough to discourage anyone. I'm sure for clinical depression, true chemical imbalance an antidepressant can save lives however a chemically injured brain is not the same. Huggies for caring and doing so much research, Rosie Re: [] Chem. Brain Injury ... - Rosie Rosie, This is the info. from the online PDR. Prozac has been called the " miracle drug, " but I don't believe it. I've known several people who have taken Prozac, and 2 of those people swear it's the greatest, but a couple of other people had horrible reactions, and I think that's the most dangerous thing about the drug. You don't know how you're body is going to react to it, until you take it. Thank goodness I've never needed it, but even if I did, I wouldn't take it. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Hey Rosie, Found an aritcle that I think fits what you are asking for. Kay Kilbourne is in it. When you click the link, it will bring you to the first page of the article. Go to the second page-then read #3. Not sure if it helps, but hope it does. http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0907/is_3_58/ai_109023553 Re: [] Chem.
