Guest guest
conspircies, politics, keeping your pocket lined, no matter what you call it, we would have to come up with something that couldn't be ignored. Im tired of writeing letters and be ignored. I think oprah may have a conflict of interest when it comes to this subject. it sounds like several have writen her with no responce.Im sure she knows of it, look at the people shes helping from katrina, I bet shes gotten several letters from them getting sick.Im disappointed with her ignoreing this subject. I think a patition, that could be signed and a short message box, where you can give a brief story of how toxic mold has effected your life. and be able to post it at every sight we can find that deals with this, for 4-6 months than collect it all and send it to conyers Jr. and some others. I've seen these types of patitions. and what about getting environmentalest groups involved? they could help with pressure to the goverment and might add our plight to theri's sence its a enviromental problem. a good patition would have to be short but to the point, and we got the good makeings of one by takeing certain statements made by experts out of the info. we have been supplied with in the last week and putting something together, hummm, I well check into this patition writeing thing . > > > Perhaps if several hundred of us > >sent letters they would listen. > > I like this idea, that way they know that we know they got the > message. Guest guest
You guys have got me thinking. What about this idea. What if there was a website dedicated SOLELY to having our experiences posted on it? It wouldn't put out medical info, or anything like that. Just our experiences. And then, they were divided into catagories by Congressional districts. So, you could write a letter to your Congressman, it would be posted on the web that your Congressman, Senator, whomever you sent it to....had received it. That way, we could get it out on the web more, and we could document just what legislators have been told, over, and over and over.... It would be a good source for people to take to their physicians, too, when their doctor tries to tell them they are the only one - mold doesn't make people sick. Just a thought. Guest guest
I think a petition would be great. I like the idea of us joining forces and all bombarding our reps and celebs in unison. I think if nothing else it would get their attention. Guest guest
Yes. There are a few other websites that post the horrors we have all experienced. But...they post other relevant info, too. I think if there was one, where people could simply read the stories, and what all legislators have been told of the horrors, it would be a good thing to put some pressure on the situation. In a message dated 3/27/2006 2:18:46 PM Pacific Standard Time, jeaninem660@... writes: sharon, I think this would be great, I have looked at some other petitions and I think we could make a web site, with a short cover head, and asking people to post theri mold story there for a colection of story's in order to to bring this to the attention of dr.'s gov, exc. and we could have catagories like , doctor horror storys, apartment nightmares, lost my home, lost my health, exc. we wouldn't have to call it a petition this way. and everyone in other sights could be asked to take the time to tell theri storys, and everyone could send this url to who ever they want. I do think it should be called mold storys or toxic mold storys, so it would come up when someone who is jest starting to reseach or look for help, they would find this site right off the bat. Guest guest
I agree completely, and it would be harder to ignore with all these stories together in one place. > > > Yes.
