Dr. Schaller's e-book which he so generously gave this group discusses this problem; that mainstream doctors are not trained and unable to diagnose and treat those who have environmental illnesses. Perhaps one day a national fund will be set up for the ones who do not have the money for transportation, lodging, the consults fees plus necessary test and then to pay for treatment protocols and follow-up visits. Until then I will support those who are ill with no finances, try to share with them my limited knowledge on the subject, give them articles and peer-to-peer review articles which they can take to their mainstream physicians to make these physicians aware of our illnesses and to protect the patients from possible Rx drugs that are contraindicated with their illness. This is one reason I believe this group is so important. We are uniting to share our knowledge so we can help others and attempt to enlighten the professionals. Guest guest
Throwing people on antidepressants because their collegeaues say that this illness is psychology is ridiculous. They are doing more harm then good. This idiot who ever started using a anti sizure med for chem injury needs to be sues. he is doing an unauthorized trial on people on his own theory. Using rxs outside of their intneted TESTED use is just not acceptable. If they have atheory let them warn the patients of what they are are doing and that it's their theory. I wold never endorse the use of a drug for anyone nor myself that hasn't been tested for long term propblems. You don't go screwing around weith the brain on a theory. I agree there needs to be a resource for those who can't afford to go to drs who are knowledgable in this ailment. But to blindly follow an allopath on a hunchor a journal article is asking for trouble. Change the laws not changing meds.
