Guest guest
I have a few patients between the ages of 6 and 21 who experience significant emotional dysregulation symptoms without any " observed " raw EEG spikes (example: sudden rage provoked by seemingly mild altercations, they " come unglued over nothing " ) From the perspective that emotional dysregulation is related to dysfunction of limbic brain areas including amygdala and hippocampus, I have some questions about the course and application of neurotherapy that I would like to use in conjunction with portions of DBT. Any thoughts about starting with CZ (linked ear reference) for initial theta downtraining and SMR uptraining based on the initial assessment? What would you consider next or as an alternative for this particular problem? Any concerns about triggering more out-of-control aggressive behavior?
