Guest guest
Ray, I have a question about your use of the pRoshi, or any other approach, for treating MS symptoms. I recently tested a woman with MS because of complaints about executive deficits and moodiness, and she now looks like she has ADD even though she had been an executive secretary for years. The only thing I could find in the literature was one NIH study on Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. Have you had other experiences treating MS-related cognitive deficits, and if so, would you be willing to share how you have addressed those? (or, of course, anyone else who can respond to this would be greatly appreciated) thanks kirk Re: pRoshi For Sale Sorry about the post regarding the pRoshi I offered to sell a couple weeks back. I did indeed have a unit that I decided to sell. My interest in the pRoshi was to help alleviate the MS symptoms of a family member. The woman’s husband has not been very supportive and with no apparent help after some use I gave up and decided to sell it. Chuck then offered to provide a pair of Magstim glasses and a contact to help. I have provided the glasses and information to the husband and am waiting for some feedback. In the meantime, my wife, who suffers from migraines has used them and essentially eliminated her headaches.Sorry about the confusion. For the time being the pRoshi is not for sale.Ray-----Original Message-----From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of psychologics@...Sent: Friday, February 03, 2006 7:26 PM Subject: pRoshiA few weeks ago somebody mentioned that they had a pRoshi for sale, but I can't find the old post. If you're out there - did you sell the pRoshi or is it still available? Merrifield>

Guest guest
Hi Gang, I've used my original Roshi (vintage circa 1995) and lately the pRoshi with a young woman (early 30's) with MS with good outcomes with cognitive Sx, affect, and with some of her physiological symptoms such as fatigue, gait, and vision. Chuck has been after me to present some of my case studies, and I may actually have some time after I get back from presenting at BFE in Vienna next week (www.BFE.org). Interestingly, I recently did a full-cap QEEG on a client with a Hx of TBI and as one of the "challenge states" I recorded 10 minutes of eyes-open data with the client wearing the clear-vue pRoshi goggles (the client had no prior experience with pRoshi). The topographs and Z-scores show impressive decreases in both her excessive fast and slow activity as well as improvements in coherence and phase in the 10-minute pRoshi file compared to the "neutral eyes open" file. The client has since emailed the QEEG data to Chuck so he can add to some of the QEEG data that Ibric has collected re: pRoshi. I believe my client has given Chuck permission to share the QEEG findings with a guarantee of anonymity (HIPAA etc.). Ray, I would encourage you to give this a try if the client is willing and understands the experimental status of pRoshi (a good informed consent is important). Guest guest
I’m sorry but I can’t be of much help. I am not trained to use these devices. I am trying to get help for a relative.
