Guest guest
thank you rosie, its nice to talk to someone who understands and cares, I live in the " show me state " of missouri (quite fitting logo, lol) luckily, I was put on disability for Post stress syndrome, even though it was not known to be the cause of toxic mold exposure. bad thing is, that I can no longer afford to see doctors that dont take medicare or medicaid. no, I never went back to that Dr., he was in Witchata Kansas. The show me state is far behind on mold info. I was very happy to see that Dr. Rea from the EHC in Dallas Texas is going to teach classes in Kansas City,Mo. in April (www.aaem.com) on MCS. so maybe after that there well be a change here, as far as doctors with knowledge. and found some doctors listed there, but not sure if they just signed up, or if they already have had some classes, going to call them. Dr. Rea uses Dr. Crofts urine test as part of his dignoseing of T- mycotoxicosis. I'm just now realizing that that exposure is rare, this is a problem all of its own. it sounds like St. Banard Parish is getting a dose of it, I was very happy to see the CDC reconize it and Dr. Crofts urine test, but, I need a doctor bad. I would love to have Dr. Shoemaker do his eye test, but I cant get there. anyway, I dont have that lawyer anymore (TG)(very sore subject). to my knowledge, my case would make presedence here, so its important and would help others that follow.and yes the problem lies with doctors and attorneys with knowledge on mold exposure. for some reason, several attorneys here think that you get well after getting out of the mold and dont understand the difference between short term, long term, amounts, and types of toxic molds. to my knowledge, 2 cases were tried in this area and lost. dont know any of the facts with those cases. but I refuse to give up hope. > > I'm so sorry you have not had good medical care.
