Guest guest
Someone else mentioned good luck with OSHA. I haven't ever heard that they do anything, but I could be wrong. Run by a government who doesn't even hardly acknowledge any heatlh effects of mold, what would you expect. The health effects are only noticed if a high ranking goverment official's family happen to live there, or in one of the previously mold-infested govenor's mansions. Then you better believe that the taxpayers foot the bills for all the renovations and mold remediation. But, average people have very little to say about these things. You have mold at work too, that is terrible. You must really feel surrounded by it! I hate to say this, but be careful about talking too much about it at work, and you know already that some will think you're crazy and use this as an excuse to cause a problem for you. Guest guest
Maybe they will let me retire early and be fine by me. I can't even retire at 25 years b/c I'm too young and have to work for 30 years to retire. These people have known me a LONG time. Head guy over my boss has known me since 19yro and I'm near 44 now. His wife died of a brain tumor and he understands things. His building had Abestos in it that was removed in last few years and no telling what else. Now what's in my buidling? He knows it's not a joking matter. I can count numbers of people in his building that died of brain tumors, cancer and lots of cancers too among other things. The top guy will get it over my boss. This man knows me and likes me very much. His sister is dying from cancer also. Just a try but I just want that refrigerator right around the corner out of the building. State Gov. here does not fire people too easy. Has to be illegal reasons and also attorney generals office has to do an investigation before the firing happens if that bad. They can call me crazy or whatever they want and what I saw in our dock area today was bad news. We had tons of leaks/waterfalls in that building in 24 years and I mean floods!! I may look into working elsewhere til I can draw retirement benefits. Guest guest
Proud of you Rhonda! You did great not only protecting yourself but everyone else. Rosie >>>>>On Behalf Of Rhonda My boss finally was going to move the mold fridge out of building and his plan was to open it and clean it on the dock and take the door off. He is paranoid someone will get in it which is stupid to begin with. Also, we have dock loading doors that shut at night and it could be duck taped and sign on it. He says we don't even know mold is in it, yes we do b/c I saw it, smelled it and it has water in it and proliferating like mad. Well, I did get it surplused but it has to have a sticker to be sent off to surplus and no telling how long that will take to get here. The spores would enter the air vents and go into the air system here inside and spread thru doors in dock area. I requested OSHA come check air here and asked the boss over my boss. We will see what they do. My eyes burn in here all day long. Rhonda
