Officials checking Langdon school for mold

LANGDON, N.H. --Officials are checking the Porter School for

mold after some children came down with ailments and rashes that

cleared up after leaving the building.

A parent said her second-grader complained of headaches, stomach aches

and rashes that cleared up after she returned home from school. The

parent said other parents and some teachers reported similar outbreaks.

The school will be closed for at least a portion of next week and

pupils will attend classes at the Vilas Middle School in Alstead.
