I thought that he only had 1 cast applied. in Aug? ..what made them stop trying? if you do not mind me asking? I hope things work out I wish I knew more about the rib to help. Guest guest Posted January 1, 2005 Report Share Posted January 1, 2005 , We had his second cast applied in November and Jaeden just could not tolerate the second cast he was throwing up all the time since the cast was removed his throwing up as come to a halt and he is feeling much better. Besides him being just skin and bones he is doing great and is happy he is free. I really thought the cast were helping but something about the second cast Jaeden's little body didn't like. Maybe the positioning was to blame. I really don't have the answers. Dr D'astous wants him to gain weight before we try again. A feeding tube maybe in Jaeden's future just to get him to bulk up and grow. I just thought I would look into the rib implant since his little body cannot tolorate the cast. Well I got to go.
