While on the stomach bloating topic. My husband and my daughter both looked

like they were about 5 months pregnant. Since starting this new way of

eating it has went down tremendously. My daughter is very thin, the

inherited type of thin, like her father, and grandfather. Her stomach has

bothered her, as it has been sort of big, she even noticed her stomach has

gotten smaller. My son 6 said to my husband the other day, " Dad you don't

look pregnant anymore, what happened. " So yes the way you eat does make a

difference.

As far as the stomach bloating that most men have and please no snide

comments, lol, (and this was not from exposure) a couple of years ago

I was taking pills called " yeast blockers " after every meal or

whenever I felt like it and after about 3 months the " pregnant " look

disappeared completely. It seemed like it happened all of a sudden,

but I stopped taking them and it took about 6 months and my little

pooch came back. Just food for thought.

Maybe you gave birth to a new batch of Candidas-? Cigars all around!

I have what I call 'empty stomach belching'. I can belch 12-15 times

in the a.m., after sitting up in bed for first time and during the day

too. I mentioned it to doctor but they didn't know what that was. I

figure it meant I was not alone, something else exhaling inside me.

However I have developed alot of food allergies so perhaps as Rosie

said, maybe that. But first thing I think with bloating, is something

else is exhaling in there. I figured Candida or something similar.

, what do you eat in the beginning? You pick a meal plan and if

you have no reaction in two weeks, you start to add things to that.

If that goes okay for two weeks, you add something else, so basically

you are very limited for a long time until you get it figured out.

How did you pick the first two week meal plan?

Rose and Tazin,

I took food allergy tests and they said I was allergic to garlic and

also cabbage. These are new allergies. I've never had allergies

before. I was disappointed to find out about garlic since I've

heard over and over again how affective it is against infections.

Now the cabbage too. It makes me think that the Candida is making

me react to these things, rather than being a true allergy. I do

have true allergy to mango, as my lips swell up. I have no bad

symptoms when I have eaten these things so I was surprised when it

showed up on my list of things I had reacted to. In fact, garlic

was underlined indicating a bigger response, rather than mango,

which I have that reaction of burning and swelling lips.

Tazin, can you tell me what Candida diet you were on that included

cabbage? I love sauerkraut, but is it important that I eat it raw?

I could drink the sauerkraut juice cold but the cabbage raw is hard

for me to digest. barb

i have beeen experimenting wth

all types of food ,,, well back to my polish heritage and believe it

or not raw saurerkraut and the juie brine ,,, works ,,, appareently

it ha natural sulfer which by the way mold and fungi hate ,,,,, so

also boiled cabbage / fried cabbage with onions ,,, and

garlic ,,,, all help ,,, when i eat it ,,, my stomach bloating

goes away and i drop inches ,,,, i cannot wait till we move from

this place ,,,, in the mean time dealing with neck andbone

pain ,,,,, grumble grumble ,,, r,t
