Guest guest
He is not paranoid. Many children have DIED in refridgerators! They go in and close the door, and suffocate! He should leave the stupid fridge outside and take the door off. It will be fine out in the open air, and not a safety hazard for any children that might be around. > > My boss finally was going to move the mold fridge out of building and > his plan was to open it and clean it on the dock and take the door > off. Guest guest
This is a state gov. building. No children around and two dock doors stay shut most time due to security reasons. Nobody can roam around in this building or on dock and we have cameras and monitors. Dock metal doors are only up when truck delivery comes. If it was duct taped securely, would be ok outside. I think him having someone else in the building take door off and clean(b/c he won't do it for sure), will spread spores and it's too near the mechanical room where electrial things are and also air vents. It has been sitting in a hallway since before Christmas unplugged with water in it from a big ice tumor that grew in it that melted inside. Water and gooey stuff ran out all over the floor from underneath too. This is a very old fridge. It has been very musky smelling in here and strong last two days and my eyes and throat are burning and they have been doing something to the hvac chiller and other people are talking about the musky smell coming in strong too. I believe I'm been exposed at work from a moldy hvac etc. for 24+ years and my house for 12 years. This state gov. building was built in early 70's with original hvac which breaks down constantly and they are putting on a new chiller which broke down the day after and they still can't get it right. I think the on/off over and over is emitting the strong musky smell. I've felt bad today in here and it's also cloudy, rainy, and dark outside.
