Guest guest Posted February 23, 2006 Report Share Posted February 23, 2006 I know how difficult it is to try to get the 4 doses of CSM, eat, and take other meds as well. I always mixed the CSM in a small plastic bottle before going to bed. The little kids sippy bottles with the straws removed are perfect, Rubbermaid from WalMart are best because they don't leak. Then I put it right by my bed, along with a bottle of water, and then shake & it's ready early in the morning (3 o4 4AM) and then go back to sleep!That way it's on an empty stomach and you're ready to eat in the morning when you wakeup and take other meds. It was then easier to get the other 3 doses in during the day. If I go out I mix the CSM the same way and just take it with me. Worked for me! Sue I have read many suggestions but 40 days after starting ( with fantastic results; " progressive MS is in remission for first time in 4 years), I struggle with how to take the CSM in relation to my morning levoxyl (thyroid) dose and then my various vitamins throughout the day. I have had no defined remission in more than 4 years till now. I see my neuro late next month. We will likely do an MRI at that time to follow progress or not. What I am doing now Wake up Thyroid Do yoga, taichi 30 min later, take vitamins all together (multi, omega 3, magnesium <have very low magnesium consistently>, NAC, milk thistle) Light breakfast, no gluten, no dairy, usually veggies and fish or chicken 2 hours later, first CSM dose Do some core stabilization exercises Walk 1 mile 1 hour later, lunch very healthy no gluten, no dairy, usually veggies and fish or chicken 2 hours later, another set of these vitamins (see above) Walk 1 mile or more 1 hour later CSM dose 1-2 hours later dinner no gluten, no dairy, usually veggies and fish or chicken Walk 1 mile or more 2 hours later 3rd CSM dose 30 min to 60 min later have a evening snack with some fat in it, no gluten, no dairy, Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
