Guest guest
I used to cook in any plastic dish I had, cool whip containers, tuperware, etc. I would never do that any more. Clearly some are worse than others. The coolwhip container was not intended for this use and probably even discouraged by the manufactures. Some plastic containers leave an aftertaste. I can taste plastice that is used for bottled water. I often wonder which is worse the tap water I drink or the bottled water that has the plastic molcules I can taste. I often wonder about other products that are not tasteless like water. How noticiable would the plastic taste be if it were tasteless like water. Orange juice, soda, mustard, coleslaw, milk, soda, etc. On Tue, 28 Feb 2006 17:09:29 -0500, you wrote: > Using glass or ceramic in a microwave might be a good idea, but do so for >the right reasons, or simply because you like it better. Guest guest
When I usd to lecture I gave the following example...if you think that plastic containters don't make a difference try the following: buy coke in plastic, can and bottle....all 3 have a DIFFERNET DISTINCTIVE taste....that usually solves that there is no difference argument On Tue, 28 Feb 2006, Christ wrote: > Date: Tue, 28 Feb 2006 19:41:33 -0500 > From: Christ <antares41-41@...> > Reply- > > Subject: Re: [] Re: Cancer comes from nuking things in plastic in > your microwave! > > I used to cook in any plastic dish I had, cool whip containers, > tuperware, etc. I would never do that any more. > Clearly some are worse than others.
