I used to cook in any plastic dish I had, cool whip containers,

tuperware, etc. I would never do that any more.

Clearly some are worse than others. The coolwhip container was not

intended for this use and probably even discouraged by the

manufactures. Some plastic containers leave an aftertaste. I can

taste plastice that is used for bottled water. I often wonder which is

worse the tap water I drink or the bottled water that has the plastic

molcules I can taste. I often wonder about other products that are

not tasteless like water. How noticiable would the plastic taste be

if it were tasteless like water. Orange juice, soda, mustard,

coleslaw, milk, soda, etc.

When I usd to lecture I gave the following example...if you think that

plastic containters don't make a difference try the following:

buy coke in plastic, can and bottle....all 3 have a DIFFERNET DISTINCTIVE

taste....that usually solves that there is no difference argument :)
