" First of all, please boycott Wal-Mart -- I have for over 10 years -- they are destroying the American family businesses left and right!! You can usually find a restaurant (especially submarine-sandwich type shops) that has jars to spare which they usually discard. I get all mine for free. As for keeping your tea in sunlight, I have all six of my gallon jars on a shelf in a room with a big window (usually blinds are open), but the sun does not shine directly on the jars. Guest guest Posted December 10, 2004 Report Share Posted December 10, 2004 I have in use straight-sided round glass goldfishbowls with old fashioned nappy cloth and glass curved frypan lid turned upside down with handle removed (to leave hole exposed for breathing or fishbowl air-pump with timer) Works just beaut!
