Guest guest
, You have to do something FAST !!! I can't even imagine what eight degrees looks like. Poor Olivia. Those braces don't really hold a curve too well once it progresses beyond 45 degrees. I'm so heart broken for you. I know you have really tried to fight this and you really have done a great job keeping Olivia from the operating table for so long. But you know, it won't be easy street with the TRP either, since it requires surgeries every six months. It's a very big undertaking !!! take care, Celia > Hi everyone, > We got home last night. > Olivias curve is at 80 degrees without the brace. > We are now concerened with vertebral wedging/deterioration and rotation. > I get physically ill when I look at her x-rays...I felt like someone has > kicked me in the stomach as hard as they could...I am always ready to be sick when > I see them.. > > Brace yourself, because I am going to post them as soon as I can > > We are looking at the halo again, and hopefully we can get accepted by the > titanium rib people immediately following.
