Guest guest
Hi all, I am brand new to the Kombucha world. Just last week I started drinking a store baught version of KT, which I like. And I have been reading up on how to make it, maybe some day. But a fellow employee told me today that because of the high levels of yeast, women should not drink it every day. Is this true? Because I thought I read that it is actually good for Thrush and other such Yeasty ailments. Anyway, I'm lovin this group and all the Digests. I am learning alot, thanks, Sofia
Guest guest
Hi Sofia Have no fear! the yeast and bacteria together in the kombucha are basically anti-biotic concerning *those kinds* of yeasts. The KT yeasts are very antagonistic to the bad parasitic yeasts. Plus, the kt creates a pH in the body not at all condusive to the growth of the parasitic kinds. Don't worry. Just start making KT yourself....it's easy. Eeeeeeasssssyyyyy!!!!!! blessings mark yeast in Kombucha Hi all, I am brand new to the Kombucha world.
