Melatonin is a hormone that is manufactured by the body; it's not a

nutrient that you get from food.

From what I understand from reading about this, studies done w/

adolescent scoliosis patients did not show a difference in melatonin

levels, but studies on infantile idiopathic scoliosis patients did show

a melatonin deficit in about 80% of the patients, if I remember

correctly. But, there was only one study done that measured only

infantile patients.
