Guest guest
Here are a few Australian leads I personally use the Cleopatra bath milk, and I live near where it is produced, so usually available on Sunshine Coast. It is labelled not for human consumption for legal purposes A2 milk maybe something you could try -- even though not raw, it is purportedly easier to digest, with less sensitivity problems than non A2 milk --- I use this when Cleopatra's is unavailable. It is definitely a good choice for me. You can find out about it on the net --- what it is etc.... Best Robyn a.. Adelaide: A store called Goodies and Grains sells raw goats milk. b.. Saalome gam naan ben uurda, gan njjber asaala hesporoona! Peace be on Earth, and among all beings! I know this is a long shot, but can any one put me in contact with a raw milk source in New South Wales? I had thought raw milk was legal in Australia, but apparently it is not, and I am having trouble locating a source. My 4 y/o can not tolerate any milk products (unless it is incubated with something, such as the case with yogurt). We tried recently and she got bad IB symptoms again. We will be gone 5 weeks, and I really want to provide my family with raw milk for at least part of the time since we will be gone for a long time. -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Guest guest
Robyn- How fun! I did not realize we had an Aussie on out little MN board! How is it that you ended up here? Unfortunately, the list you sent is the one we had been working off of, but had only hit dead ends. Do you happen to have any ideas how we can find a source in NSW for the Cleopatra's Bath milk? Specifically we will be staying in . We found one store in NSW but 10 hours from where we will be staying. It is fully ingestable? The farmers drink it too? It seems weird to drink something labeled for bathing, but hey, you have to do what you have to do to get the food you need! lol I am amazed it is not illegal there in NSW, the last I heard it was legal. When did these restrictions get imposed? You Aussies are very creative to come up with this idea to get around it being illegal to sell for drinking. :>) Thank you for your help! Carol PS- I would have sent this privately, but I can not seem to extract your email address from the message for some odd reason. Please respond to carolfrisk@... Guest guest
Robyn- How fun! I did not realize we had an Aussie on out little MN board! How is it that you ended up here? *****Hi Carol, I joined due to my interest in eating real food --- I prefer to avoid processed foods and aim to do my own thing, maybe not to extent some on this list do, but to suit me and my family's needs. Unfortunately, the list you sent is the one we had been working off of, but had only hit dead ends. Do you happen to have any ideas how we can find a source in NSW for the Cleopatra's Bath milk? ****okay, here is another little list I found on the net that is relevant to the Sydney area. I am not sure where is, but if it is on the North shore of Sydney then that is not too far from these addresses: 1.. Cleopatra’s Bath Milk Outlets in Sydney 2.. ? Whole foods House - 109 Queen St Woollahra 2025 9363 9889 ? Fruitgasm - 54 -54 MacPherson St Bronte 2024 9389 9676 ? Dr Earth Health Foods - 444 Oxford St Bondi Junction 2022 9389 3404 ? Dr Earth Health Foods - 311 King St Newtown 2042 9519 3495 ? Life Organic - 125 King St Newtown 2042 9565 1156 ? Alf-Alfa House Co-Operative - 113 Enmore Rd Newtown 2042 9519 3374 3.. If you order 11 2litre bottles you can get a home delivery 4.. For more information call at A2 milk 0419 955 800 who distributes in Sydney. cheers Vicki Poulter Sydney Chapter this was found on the following site www.nourished.com.au Specifically we will be staying in . We found one store in NSW but 10 hours from where we will be staying. ..........hmmmmmm.....I suspect it is a newly created suburb, as used to live in Sydney and have never heard of it --- but it is likely to be not that far from things the addresses above have a postcode eg. 2025), and then the phone number it seems (eg., 93639889) -- just add the 61 2 before the above number if dialling from the US It is fully ingestable? The farmers drink it too? :-) well, I drink it and so do others I know -- not sure about the farmes themselves --- It doesn't cause mucus in my system like pasteurised milk does -- neither does A2 cause mucus for me, so the digestibility is better in that one too. That is more readily available than Cleo's --- in Queensland, A2 is available at the major supermarkets. :>) Not sure about timings of things, but there is a site for Real Milk in Oz based on the lobbying of the Weston Price group. Thank you for your help! Carol Good luck in finding what you want Enjoy your stay in OZ Best Robyn Saalome gam naan ben uurda, gan njjber asaala hesporoona!
