I find that if I do not take the Betagen, my post-workout muscle soreness

lasts MUCH longer and is often unbearable. If you have the time, I would

recommend that you do a google search on both Betagen and Creatine and see

what you find. (Research is a good thing!)

It's always good to contact EAS with your concerns, too. They can back up

what they tell you with scientific studies they've done... they're not just

talking off the tops of their heads.

Just because the owner of the store you visited is a personal trainer does

not mean he knows everything there is to know, and people (including

" experts " ) will always have conflicting opinions regarding the same subject.

Even scientific studies sometimes contradict each other.

Bottom Line: If it's working for you, keep on keeping on. (If it ain't

broke, don't fix it!)

Betagen question PLEASE help.

Hi BFL'ers:

I have a question regarding Betagen. I recently visited a local

nutrition store, not a chain store but a store who the owner is a

personal trainer. I went in out of curiousity and basically to pick

his brain on what type of supplements I should be taking. He first

asked me what I was taking. I told him I take Flax Oil, Protein

powder and Betagen. He was HORRIFIED that I took Betagen. He said

that it could cause me to GAIN bodyfat and retain water. I have not

noticed either of these symptoms to tell you the truth and I am

almost finished with my first container. I really don't ANY

difference while using the product. He said that women should NOT

consume creatine.

If you have any information on Betagen or your personal experience

with it could you please share? Also, how often if you do take

Betagen do you take it for. The container said 3x a day, which is

what I have been doing. I read someplace else that you should only

use a serving after a weight training session.

Thank you so much for your help.

Thanks Lydia!

I just may email EAS and see what they have to say. I can really

say that I don't feel bloated at all with the Betagen. It could be

that I am drinking alot of water too.

I am going to research all the sites that sent me and see what

I come up with.

Thanks again,

Daisy
