So, I am wondering about something. I am very hot right now and

have been on average overly warm on and off lately. Is this a sign

that my metabolism is kicking in (hopefully). It is blazing hot

outside and has been the last few days, but I have the AC on and the

inside temp is at 71. I feel as though I need to lay over a vent or

underneath my ceiling fan. Can I get excited or not?? I would

really like to be able to do the happy dance. Anyone know???

Usually you feel the metabolic furnace after eating, usually a

protein like a chicken breast. Protein shakes don't do this nor do

bars. Eggs do it, I can feel it myself when I eat this stuff. If

you're just sitting around hot it probably isn't the metabolic

furnace. It doesn't mean you aren't burning fat if you have a calorie

deficit going on and have been doing very intense cardio and lifting

workouts. You might be feeling the effects of that.

Hi Shauntel,

Well, it's either your fat burners, your metabolism, or your pregnant

(smile)! I know about an hour after taking my thermogenics I'm on

fire. I open every window and want to take off all my clothes (not

ready for that yet :-) But, another good way to tell if you

metabolism is speeding up is by how hungry you are by your next meal.

Shoot after 2 hours of not eating I'm almost starving.

You go girl, with your burning up self!
