Guest guest
Sometimes if I have lots of cravings it's because either my sugars are too high or my good fats are too low. Are you supplementing with Udo's oil or anything like it? If you are, you could increase your dosage while you're having cravings, and if you're not, I'd recommend starting. If I know my fats are high enough, my cravings are usually due to my eating too much sugar or too many processed carbs. Check everything -- including MRP's -- to see if there's possibly too much sugar in your diet. The final possibilty I can think of is that your calories could be too low, in which case, jsut try to bump up your calories a bit (remember, if you've been exercising for awhile and have put on muscle mass, you may need more calories now than when you started exercising.) I'd try to check on the other 2 first, though.- In , " " <livernspleen@y...> wrote: > I can't blame it on Aunt Flo or stress from work (I have been off all > week) but I am having the strangest cravings. Guest guest
(remember, if you've been exercising for awhile and > have put on muscle mass, you may need more calories now than when you > started exercising.) Is this true??? I'm on week 10 and have been loosing 1 1/2 - 2 lbs. each week, but the past 2 weeks I've felt tired, cranky and some days I feel like I'm starving. I haven't changed what I eat...it's basically the same menu since week 1 (though I do vary types of veggies or chicken/fish etc). I eat no sugar (except free day). So, would it be safe to increase calories? Not by much, just a tad. I already use Udos, so maybe I could use a touch of olive oil in a salad, too? I cut that out in week 6. When I put my calories into fitday.com I come to about 1350. RIght now I weigh 126.5, down from 140.5. I look good, but I thought I'd see more muscle by now, though my arms and shoulders are killer. Maybe I'm not getting enough protein or calories? ----Mandi C1W10D6
Guest guest
I'll start taking my flax again, I kept forgetting and just stopped so I'll start takig it again. You might have something with the sugar too...I haven't been eating many processed carbs, I mainly eat fresh fruit (for about half of my carb selecions) recently I have been eating watermelon. I think it is the culprit! I even made a point of buying apples yesterday. I'll make those two changes and see if the cravings die down. Oh yes and I will check my BMR to make sure I am getting the enough cals. Thanks
Guest guest
Good Job Mandi! I'd recheck my BF% and recheck my BMR. You probably can increase your cal intake now.
