I apologize if what I said came out wrong. I'm glad that everyone's

tastes are different. I personally aren't that fond of protein shakes

but I like myoplex chocolate creme.

When I first started using Myoplex (I use Myoplex light) I couldn't

stand it. It took some experimenting to find out how to make it

palatable. I prefer the Vanilla Creme, and I make it with 16oz of

water, 4 ice cubes and about 4 frozen strawberries. I also have to

drink it with a straw because I can't stand the smell. So why do I

use it? Because it's easy, quick, and pretty much a dummy-proof meal.

I've purchased mine at www.vitaglo.com ,(per recommendation of a

friend who is also a BFLer) and I've had good luck with them.

I think that the first few weeks of BFL are all about experimenting

and finding your stride. It took me some time and a lot of reading

different websites to get into a groove. I spent quite a bit of time

in the nutrition aisle at Target comparing labels of shakes and bars.

I'm 4 days from finishing my first cycle (not challenge - that's too

finite for me!), and I can't believe how great I feel. So strong!

Good luck, and welcome!

Hi!

I LOVE myoplex-lite, I'm only on day 9 of the challenge, but I look

forward to my shakes. I know a lot of people don't like to depend on

shakes because they say you can't do them forever, and just to use

them for convenience...but without them I would never get 6 meals in

a day, easily prepared meals or not, nothing is easier than opening a

carton or blending a shake. I will do them forever as far as I'm

concerned...in addition to being quick and easy, I know that I'm

getting a lot of my daily required nutrients. As many others have

said, you may love it or hate it, I think I'm into the texture

because it's like a real shake if you add some ice-cubes.

but I absolutely love it...

OH! Except for the fruity flavored ones...I hate those.

Good Luck!

It seems like its a case of you either hate them or love them !!LOL

I use it and like it a lot - especially the strawberry.I don't use

them everyday but do find them very convenient. I work shift work -

12 hrs- 4 days/4 off/4 nights. I especially like the shakes in the

morning after work when I am too tired to prepare a meal but must eat

before I go to bed or wake up hungry after a few hours.

I also like the Myople Lite bars - especially at break time - it's

almost like having a sweet!

I am very fortunate that despite living in a small remote community

in Northern Alberta, the owner of our local gym brings in the Myoplex

products. She is actually the one who has been promoting the BFL

program in our community . She also provides great support and

encouragement - at no cost over your membership!!
