Guest guest
Stasia, my dannon light has 12g sugar in it. in the ingredients, it has modified corn starch, fructose syrup, aspartame and it says it contains active yogurt cultures. I don't think this is a good choice, right? THanks! > As long as it says no sugar added or sweetened with splenda or aspartame or something other than sugar it is fine. The sugared ones have way too many sugar grams and will send your blood sugar/insulin skyrocketing. The sugars you might be reading are the milk sugars which are harmless. The key is that it not be sweetened with real sugar or corn syrup or anything that has high fructose in front of it. > > Stasia >
Guest guest
Sounds like those 12 grams of sugar are mostly milk sugar which is ok. Is this the bulk of the carbs? Most of the bad for you yogurts have 25-30 grams of sugar so this with 12 doesn't sound that bad. Guest guest
Even with all the fructose? I found Stonyfield, which is all natural sugars, but they are 25g!
