Guest guest
Hi! Congrats on your progress. I " m depressed and not doing well, just starting my 6th week. How/why did you determine to up your calories to 1800? I am staying around 1400 but I'm just wondering how people decide how many to take in. Thanks! gina > this week I lost > waist -.5 " (1 more to go to my 6 week goal of -3 " ) > abdomen -1 " > hips -1 " > thigh -.5 " > and 2 pounds of fat > (if calculations are correct) > > this is after I upped my calories to 1800. > > Now I am very tired and sore and looking forward to tomorrow > MY FREE DAY!!!!! Guest guest
I was doing 1600 and feeling shaky and cold and tired and weak, so I just told myself I would try 1800 and see how I felt. It actually came out to about 1700 average. I am using fitwatch.com and I really like it. I have been eating really clean. No bread etc... no processed foods. I sometimes add 10 minutes of moderate cardio on my HIIT days or 20 minutes of moderate cardio on my weight days. So I am adding 2-3 20 min moderate cardios a week. I really have no idea how to figure out the calorie thing, I just decided I wanted to see how much I could eat and still lose fat. (I spent my teenage years trying to see how little I could eat and I know THAT does NOT work). Next week I am going to have my metabolism measured and I will tell you guys what it says!!! Good luck in your next week. I keep saying to myself " work hard and be patient!
