Guest guest
Un Leesh Uh, Let me respond to a few of your questions: 1) for cardio, if you are stating in MPH, then you are going pretty damn fast! especially at 2% incline. But the key here is not the speed, as it seems you are in good cardio shape, but the " effect " it has on you. you just have to hit the high points for YOU, and it sound like you are! 2) Yes, Basalmic Vinegar is okay. Many use it. 3) Your meals look perfect. Just think about portion size for you. Didn't Bill say to use your fist to approximate portions? 4) Like I said in a previous post, if you want to lose weight you have to burn more calories than you eat. See http://www.hussman.org/fitness/ for details of how calories burn. The idea of eating 6 times a day, plus HIIT makes your body burn more calories, then it will use that fuel to repair the muscles your torn down. BTW, I still cannot eat 6 times a day, so for me, I cannot gain the weight I want! 5) American Idol is a complete sham. SUCKS and should have never been in the final 12. But as one internet site pointed out, its a " teen popularity contest " now, not a " who's the best singer " , because, even though I favor jasmine, there's no doubt that the three divas were at a higher level than anyone else. :-) > Been hella busy with work but wanted to drop a line letting you all > know that I am on the BFL bandwagon and feeling good..... > can anyone tell me if what I am eating is gonna get me SKINNY AND > TONE~~ > This morning I got up at 4, went to the gym...did my HIIT on the > treadmill (about died--but I think that means you did it right) Was > on a 2 incline and did 5.5 for 2 minutes, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, then 6, etc > etc ended strong and set it to 9!!! Guest guest
gina here again...another question...I run on the treadmill too. My 9 is about 6mph and my 10 is 7mph, I have been increasing the incline and playing around with intensity-my legs/body have no problem, its my breathing that kills it. I have NEVER understood the proper breathing technique! I pant like a dog in a closed up car! Help?! Someone said inhale 2, exhale 3-what does that mean? I breath in and out in a half second increments! thanks gina > > Been hella busy with work but wanted to drop a line letting you all > > know that I am on the BFL bandwagon and feeling good..... > > can anyone tell me if what I am eating is gonna get me SKINNY AND > > TONE~~ > > This morning I got up at 4, went to the gym...did my HIIT on the > > treadmill (about died--but I think that means you did it right) Was > > on a 2 incline and did 5.5 for 2 minutes, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, then 6, > etc > > etc ended strong and set it to 9!!! Guest guest
Cardio- Any way you slice it, its a " bitch " if you do it right. Evaluate your Heartrate and see where it is. If you are getting close to 100% of your MAX Heartrate, then you may be getting close to passing out! My wife looks like she's gonna die when she's at 175-180. In doing a sadistic test myself I once drove myself to see how high I could go on my HR, I think it was the 190s even though my " MAX " HR is projected at 186. Stasia, who is in excellent shape, and posts here often, can't even break a sweat until she's over 170HR, and I think she's in her 40s! So its different for everyone. All I can say, is focus on deeper inhales, but when you're really burning it, you will want to lean over put your hands on your knees and pant! > > > Been hella busy with work but wanted to drop a line letting you > all > > > know that I am on the BFL bandwagon and feeling good..... > > > can anyone tell me if what I am eating is gonna get me SKINNY AND > > > TONE~~ > > > This morning I got up at 4, went to the gym...did my HIIT on the > > > treadmill (about died--but I think that means you did it right) > Was > > > on a 2 incline and did 5.5 for 2 minutes, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, then 6, > > etc > > > etc ended strong and set it to 9!!! Guest guest
Hmmmm...according to the heartrate thingie on the treadmill, my heart rate prior to passing out is only like 155. I have a strap heart rate monitor, but I haven't used it yet-maybe thats the key. I'll strap it on tomorrow! PS...how do you find out the max heart rate? thanks! gina > > > > Been hella busy with work but wanted to drop a line letting you > > all > > > > know that I am on the BFL bandwagon and feeling good..... > > > > can anyone tell me if what I am eating is gonna get me SKINNY > AND > > > > TONE~~ > > > > This morning I got up at 4, went to the gym...did my HIIT on > the > > > > treadmill (about died--but I think that means you did it right) > > Was > > > > on a 2 incline and did 5.5 for 2 minutes, 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, then > 6, > > > etc > > > > etc ended strong and set it to 9!!!
