Guest guest
I hate depo. All of those side effects you are experiencing I had the whole time I was on it. The Docs kept saying it woul just take me awhile to adjust. I was on it for 15 months. When I came off it took me a year to start having my periods again and they are still irregular. I gained all of my weight while on depo and it has been hard to get it off. Well, that's my beef about Depo. Sorry about the OD. I switched to an IUD no problems, I highly reccomend it. Guest guest
This is just temporary and over the course of your weight loss program is only a minor crisis. The silver lining here is that it is not because of some eating mishaps you've had. The other silver lining is that you aren't going to have to re-lose any weight because it isn't fat weight. Suing the doctor isn't an option because there really aren't any damages. Hang in there, stay on BFL and once this bloat thing is over you might find that you've also lost some more fat while you were waiting. Stasia > I hate depo. Guest guest
I share your experience. I only had 3 shots. I had no period, had joint pain to the point i could not walk at times, my hair started to fall out, horrible mood swings, completely lost all interest in sex, and gained 30 pounds. After I stopped taking it I didnt have a period for almost a year. Then I had 2 and got pregenant. LOL. Depo is really strange. I swear every woman has a different experience in it. Mind you, they don't really say this on websites I have read but IUD is usually recommended for women who have already had kids -- I only found this out because my new doctor had interned in a womens' clinic for a long time and had lots of experience with birth control methods.
