Re: Must we buy the Myoplex to compete in the challenge?

Hi , welcome to the group :-)

If you are in America, then you do have to use some kind of EAS

product if you wish to enter the challenge officially. If you don't

think you want to enter, then no :-)

However, I personally am glad I took the plunge and bought the

myoplex. I bought the carb sense variety which has 50g of protein

in it, because I only need 22g per meal, so I can split the packet

in half, and also split the cost in half. I have it with an apple

or some other whole food to make up for the carbs. check out

vitaglo.com for good prices.

Now as for not using myoplex in the nutrition side of things, of

course that's a viable option. In fact, having whole foods is

better for you. But consider this; preparing 6 meals a day is hard

sometimes. For many people, shakes are a boon because it means we

don't have to cook or prepare anything. In regards to cost, work

out how much it really costs in your part of the world, I'll bet it

would be comparable to a chicken breast and serve of carbs. Which

brings me to another point, if you're having something like brown

rice for a carb often as many of us do, you'll be saving a bundle of

money which you can spend on myoplex.

Don't be worried about how long it will take you to get to your

goal. BFL is not a crash diet, but at the end of it you'll be so

glad you took the healthy way to your goal.

It's my understanding, though, that you could buy like two EAS bars

and still enter. One of the prizes is getting money back for the EAS

products, so you won't get much back, but you can still enter and win

the rest of it. That's what I was told anyway. I'm not officially

doing the challenge though. In fact, I'm not even doing '12

weeks'...I'm doing my own personal 'BFL your butt off until you reach

your goal then BFL half your butt off to not get that way again!'

challenge. ;)
