kicking the sugar habit?

Hi

I kicked the sugar habit about 5 months ago - it was really hard in

the beginning but I just stuck to it. I have tried quiting sugar on

and of many many times. This time it worked, this time I also ate/eat

lots of fermented veggies everyday. I never even used to like them

and now instead of craving sweets I crave sauerkraut!

What I am wondering is what others think about adding honey to my

diet. So far I haven't had any but am interested in baking some

almond muffns (I don't eat grains either) and using honey.

Is honey REALLY any better than sugar? Should I just stay away from

it all?
