Yes, I have it, or a hiatus hernia - not sure yet. I've been battling it for

about 4 months now and it isn't pleasant. I started on Pantoloc about 30

days ago which has helped alot as the OTC meds weren't even touching it. I

found the recommendations for smaller, more frequent meals very amusing!

GERD-Acid Reflux?????

Ok it appears I may have this fun " disease " rather than Gallbladder

problems. Funny

how it's suggested to eat 5 small meals a day and eat clean foods to keep

it under

control... It's like BFL was prescribed just for me...Does anyone have

this in this

group??

Yes me too...=) I've noticed a sore throat often after I eat and pains in my

chest...

Those are the worst symptoms for me. I am going to go to a specialist and see

what

they say. It's very annoying and I never thought I would get it but as luck

would have

it. ..

Um ... yes, and no.

I had it, and had to take medication for years, and had to elevate the head of

my bed.

Then I started low-carbing last year, (before I discovered BFL and EFL, which I

am just now exploring and learning about) and my reflux went away. I have

finally figured out that, in my case, it's triggered by certain refined grains,

and wheat appears to be one of the " biggies " for me.

I haven't taken any kind of reflux medication for over a year now. I'm sure

eating smaller, more frequent meals has something to do with it, but I'm also

convinced that learning to " eat clean " plays an even bigger role in it. In my

case, the low-carbing and clean eating is to control my diabetes (Dr.

Bernstein's Diabetes Solution) but I've realized that increasing my muscle mass

and reducing my body fat might help me get my diabetes (type 2) into remission,

hence my interest in BFL and EFL.

Cheers!

Eury
