Guest guest
I sweat like a pig on HIIT day - I mean soaked to the bone. It's actually very distracting when I'm trying to do abs afterwards - sweat keeps dripping into my eyes, even though I wear a bandana around my head to catch it (I know I must look totally 80's wearing it, but I work out at home so who cares?). So I definitely have to shower and wash hair after cardio. But what about just rinsing your hair after weights if you think you're too sweaty instead of washing it? When I was in the army during basic training we barely had time to take a shower after PT (physical training) in the morning, let alone wash our hair and dry it, so most of us just did a quick body wash and rinse, left our hair alone, and washed our hair at night. Nobody suffered, but then again we were in basic training so we weren't really trying to impress anyone either - especially in our uniforms and boots :-). Guest guest
I can't wash my naturally curly hair every day or it would definitely go all Bozo on me. Get a product to refresh and clean your hair between shampoos. I use Aveda Reviving Mist. We'll see if the link works: http://aveda.com/products/product.asp?ITEM=22636 & RN=10 & SN=165 & DD=1 I know there are other products that do the same thing. You spray it on your hair once it dries and it will spring the body back into it and make it shine and smell good. It looks freshly washed but you avoid the stripping and dryness from too much shampooing. Girly Question: Hair Okay - now here's a question that would get laughed off a co-ed BFL forum. Guest guest
Hi Regan :-) I only wash my hair on HIIT days, so on weight days I just put it up and shower. The only place I'm sweaty is at the nape of my neck, and that ALWAYS gets wet in the shower anyway, which washes away the sweat. Also, you could consider just wetting your hair, and putting a bit of conditioner in it. That certainly wouldn't hurt your hair like using shampoo would. in NZ > Okay - now here's a question that would get laughed off a co-ed BFL > forum. Guest guest
I only use shampoo about once a week. And the once a week is only because I have severe psoriasis and have to use a medicated shampoo. The other days I treat my conditioner as shampoo. I scrub it into my scalp with my fingertips then rinse. I've done this for about a month and my hair has never been better.
