Here's the math on those bars:

9 x 9 = 81 calories from fat (47.6%)

5 x 4 = 20 calories from carbs (11.7%)

20 x 4 = 80 calories from protein (47%)

Not very close to the 40/40/20 split.

I am horrible at math. I don't know how I made it through college

(lol) Can you explain to me how you did that? I drank one with

fruit like Stasia had suggested and I am all broken out so there is

something in them I am allergic to anyway ugh. I will be trying to

find some other bars so I need to be able to look at them and figure

out if they fit the 40/40/20 split so I would love to know how to

figure that out.

Every gram of carbs has 4 calories (doesn't matter what kind of

food, carbs are always 4 calories per gram). Protein is also 4

calories per gram; and fat is always 9 calories per gram.

You'll probably never find a bar that's a perfect 40/40/20 split,

but you can also probably do better than these Atkins bars.
