Guest guest
Here's the math on those bars: 9 x 9 = 81 calories from fat (47.6%) 5 x 4 = 20 calories from carbs (11.7%) 20 x 4 = 80 calories from protein (47%) Not very close to the 40/40/20 split. > I am allergic to soy so I have been looking for bars or shakes that I > can drink. Guest guest
I am horrible at math. I don't know how I made it through college (lol) Can you explain to me how you did that? I drank one with fruit like Stasia had suggested and I am all broken out so there is something in them I am allergic to anyway ugh. I will be trying to find some other bars so I need to be able to look at them and figure out if they fit the 40/40/20 split so I would love to know how to figure that out. Guest guest
Every gram of carbs has 4 calories (doesn't matter what kind of food, carbs are always 4 calories per gram). Protein is also 4 calories per gram; and fat is always 9 calories per gram. You'll probably never find a bar that's a perfect 40/40/20 split, but you can also probably do better than these Atkins bars. > > > I am allergic to soy so I have been looking for bars or shakes > > that I > > > can drink.
