Guest guest
Okay, I have held off this purchase for months...does anyone know the cheapest place to buy them...other than the powerblock site? I see they came out with the medical version which adjusts at a 2.5 up of weight...which is great! Also, can I have people's thoughts on working out with them? I have small hands and wondered if the bar can accomodate women's hands... Thanks in advance,

Guest guest
I was going to buy a set of these this weekend, but we didn't make it to the store. My local fitness place has them for the same price in the brochure, $219. That is for the personal set. I didn't think to ask about the medical with the 2 1/2 increments. I should go back and ask. I hesitated to order them, as shipping (once again according to the brochure from powerblocks themselves) was $55! Plus an additional 20$ for the shipping of the stand (somewhere over $100). I figured it would be cheaper to buy them in town and pay sales tax then to pay the shipping. They are weights, and are heavy! I did try them out on Friday at the fitness dealer....I loved them! Comfy grip, my hand fit nicely, the guy who demoed them also seemed to fit his hand in comfortably. He even showed me how to do the tricep overhead extension (must be the first thing all the women ask about). I'll be getting a set...hopefully soon!!! ----Mandi > Okay, I have held off this purchase for months...does anyone know the > cheapest place to buy them...other than the powerblock site?
