Guest guest
Raw means not pasteurized and not homogenized. If it just says not pasteurized on it, it's probably been homogenized. That really is quite a big difference. I've read that if you can't do fully raw dairy that you should do not homogenized for sure. Raw Cheese vs. Non-Pastuerized Cheese Does anyone know the difference between raw cheese versus non- pasteurized cheese? I ordered raw cheese from my co-op, but was sent non-pasteurized cheese. Another member of the co-op told me not to accept it because the two products are different. Also, I noticed some other members had ordered some Brunkow blocks and they said " non- pasteurized " but did not say " raw. " As a side, I got the Brunkow raw cheese spread. What a treat, yum!
