Guest guest Posted April 19, 2006 Report Posted April 19, 2006 Glad you're feeling better, Carolyn! I would love to get some yoga/stretching in tonight also. Sounds like it will be possible b/c my DD hasn't napped so I'm sure she'll be in bed early. LOL!.but im sure it will come back as i start eating again. already todayive had a proper breakfast and lunch, and man, it tasted so dang good :)besides being able to eat, im thrilled that i have gotten some energyback. i was able to do some housework this morning and then i wentout for a 64 minute power walk in the warm sunshine! the weather is so beautiful here today and the kids are at school, so it was a realtreat for me to put on my headphones and head out down our countryroad. oh, it was so wonderful, i wished that you were all here, pumping your arms and legs along with me. tonight i want to do yoga with rainbeau mars... it is one of her'beauty' workouts... the 'dusk' one... i hope you know which i mean! i previewed it for a bit last night and it looks quite do-able.geeze, she is so young and beautiful ::sigh:: this workout seems to be fairly athletic vs. spiritual, which appeals to me, so i will letyou know later how i make out with it.i read an article last night that said that aerobic activity --enough to make you sweat -- will clear your nose and sinuses when you have a cold, and yep, it was right! i was kind of stuffed upwhen i left for my walk but on the way home i was breathing easy.also, sinuses drain through an opening in their top, so hanging yourhead will help them to drain.... so it certainly sounds like yoga will be in order with all of the down-dogs and forward bends andsuch. now how do i get my ears to clear?? i cant hear very well andhad to crank up the volume on the tv last night to hear american idol(good show last night, i was quite happy with all performances except for kellie's):*carolyn.
