This is what happens to me if I lift to heavy for too long. My arms just start looking big, not cut. I still enjoy going heavy, but not for a super long period of time. I mainly go heavier for the strength part. I think a more endurance type training is best for a smaller look, but a defined one. Muscle Endurance, Power Hour and Muscle Max are all good ones for that. Along with circuit workouts... Circuit Max, both High Step workouts and Cardio & Weights (my fave). I also think interval workouts like Imax really burns the fat. You have those short bursts of really high impact and then you come back down, that's what really gets those fires burning! As I said in a previous post, for me.... doing my cardio in the evenings have really helped to keep my weight down. A while back I had been eating so much and I was so afraid to step on the scales, but when I did I couldn't believe that my weight was still down where it had been previously. I have tons more energy in the evenings so cardio works best for me anyway at that time. I hope I have helped some! I'm sure , Tonya or the others can give you better advice then me. Quote
