Guest guest
i have four of them but i haven't gotten around to doing energy sprint. i think they are high beginner/intermediate but still feel some advanced execisers can get benefits from them. i have pure and simple stretch which is 35mins. of basic stretching, i don't use it often b/c i do alot of yoga but its a great video. i have her yoga and sculpting dvd which combines her yogasculpt workout and core essentials. this is much different from the yoga i do and it has a 20 min segment that is yoga targetted towards the abs(even though she refers to it as the pilates segment its not really pilates). its a nice workout, she cues well and dicusses form and holds the poses for a few breathes to help build strength. the core essentials is a different type of workout. its like pilates infused with basic floorwork. the warm up is standing but the rest is floor work for legs, glutes, back, and abs all using weights(or her green genie balls).its chaptered well but doesn't have the mix and match option most of her other dvds have. the other video i have is ultimate circuit training which combines another two of her workouts step circuits and butt, legs, tummy on the ball. the step circuit is alternating of step aerobics and weights and at the end of the workout is has leg lifts and ab work on the step. the butt legs and tummy on the ball is a short workout to address those areas. it also has several premixed workouts combining the two for longer or shorter workout sections depending on what you feel like working. this has a mix and match option to do which segment you want at a time. i had gotten energy sprint for xmas. it has a mix and match option but i only did the 12 min upper body workout. i haven't done the rest yet but its 82mins. of step intervals with lower body, upper body, and ab work. i don't know how well its chaptered or how hard it is but i am looking into putting into my rotation sometime this month. i have gotten alot of dvds the past few months and i am trying to catch up on doing those as well as going through some older ones i haven't done in awhile. i hope this helps a bit. i do enjoy karen and i feel she is a good video instructor that cues properly and goes over good form in her workouts. was there a certain one you were thinking of getting or just curious about her in general??? i also have her total body pilates dvd on my wishlist at deepdiscountdvd.com b/c i ordered a pilates ring and this workout uses on as well. kassia rgs424 <rgs424@...> wrote: Anyone here use Voight workouts ? Guest guest
wow! kassia gave you such an excellent reply... i dont have much to add. i have all of the same KV workouts as kassia, with the exception of 'energy sprint'... instead i have 'burn & firm' and another one, 'streamlined fitness'. i enjoy all of these workouts and has an awesome physique. although karen leads very good cardio and strength workouts, i do think that yoga is her forte. what do you think? :*carolyn. Guest guest
i would say more pilates is her thing being a dancer and all. her one yoga video i have is pretty good just not the same type of yoga i am used too so its nice to throw it in for a change. i just ordered her total body pilates to go with the ring i ordered. this one has been getting just awesome reviews and still is one brought up for pilates recommendations. i know she has another one that doesn't use the ring its all matwork, but i have plenty of pilates matwork. does anybody have her yoga focus workout i would love to her some input on this???
