Introduction from new member

Hello Everyone,

I was delighted to come across your group today. I've never had the

opportunity to discuss my fragrant matters with other fragrance

freaks. I'm an herbalist and aspiring perfumer currently doing my

homework in anticipation of starting a home business doing hand-made

herbal body care products, fragrances, and home remedies. I've

studied clinical herbal medicine starting in 1989, and have practiced

at a low level since then (mostly friends & family). Having recently

had the revelation that I'm not that drawn to clinical practice (too

much responsibility) I've decided to develop my skills in herbal

pharmacy, cosmetics, and perfumery. I hope to develop a small line of

distinctive products by spring to market at local flea markets and

street fairs, and should that go well, eventually I'd love to have my

own store with body care, bulk herbs, tinctures, and quality organic

essential oils from small growers. Even further, I would love to have

a day spa and a herb clinic associated with the store. Of course

these are fantasies at this point. Currently I'm in recovery from

serious depression which has left me quite poor and sometimes

homeless. So I will be quite delighted if I earn any income from my

wares. I look forward to learning from you all and contributing when

I can.
