It is my understanding that an oleoresin is obtained with solvents.?., and I am looking for capsicum essential oil...I can only find it as an oleoresin. So I am confused. Does this mean that the cayenne pepper has some resin in it? Does it just not yield an essential oil through steam distillation? Any ideas on where I can find capsicup essential oil?
