This site sounds very interesting and I hope some member knows of it and

can post the URL. In the meantime, Monchello, you post reminded me I have a

file on my HD that I forgot to upload, so I just did it. It is a Word doc

that contains a database-looking chart that lists many, many perfumes,

their ingredients, year created, ingredients, etc. It is a huge file, over

1MB, and if you click it on, it will ask if you want to open it in Word or

save it to disk. I'm saying this in case you're on a dialup and you need to

know you're downloading a big old choaker.

To view it, go to Files, then click on

That is a work of love. But why did you use Word? Would it not have been better

in Access or Excel? How do you sort data each time you enter info?

BTW, Ann Gottlieb is not a perfumer. A marketing person, and evaluator, a

consultant, yes. A perfumer, no.

Hi Chris:

That file was forwarded to me by someone who wanted to share it. I don't

remember who! I'm not sure the sender was the author, either. Perhaps, if I

get ambitious (doubtful, since I'm lazy and have too much going on right

now), I could import it into a database somehow so it could be manipulated.

Or someone could volunteer.

I'll check the Ann Gottlieb bit and see if I can remove her name.
