Guest guest
More insurance companies have been requiring patients to participate in a 6 mo. " supervised " diet and exercise program. Although there are some patients who are able to comply for this amount of time and make the changes, there are many who slip up several times. Our outpatient dietitian is struggling with what to write in her nutrition notes. Does anyone have experience with this? She feels many of these patients will do well once given their tool, but they are not succeeding with an intact gi tract. What exactly outcomes are the insurance companies looking for? Thanks very much!
