That is very sweet of you. I hope she lives a long time as long as she isn't in pain. If she's in pain or suffering, I hope that she lives for as long as she wishes to. She's been through so much in her life.

65 doesn't seem old to me either, that is why it is so sad. In fact, her mother is still alive. I have a harder time relating to my Great Grandmother only because she has very hard beliefs. Her memory is very bad and she has dementia. It is harder, but I still visit her once in a while. As for Grammy, I don't know what I'll do when she decides to leave us. I really dread that day, and I'm afraid it isn't too far off.
