OK. Looks like you have tried everything to get your water down. It's

just one of those things that just needs to be done because there is

no substitute. Sorry. Diet soda does not have any type of redeeming

value. It will not benefit you in any way. It will not flush your

system of toxins, help your digestion, make you feel better in any

way. Even if you drink Diet Rite, it is still soda with chemicals.

Best saved for a free day. The bottom line is that you have to

decide if you are ready to live this lifestyle and do what needs to

be done to get the results you want.

Q: Bill, You say for every cup of coffee you drink each day, drink another cup

of water. Does the same apply to diet sodas? --Jake

A: Yes. That's right. I don't mind you drinking diet soda (I often have a

couple Diet Pepsi's myself), but keep in mind that it is a mild diuretic so

drink an extra cup of water (in addition to the 10 glasses I ask you to drink

each day) to make sure you stay in balance.

My local grocery store carries a brand called " Clear Choice " . It's

flavored water also, but I believe it has aspertame instead of

Splenda, and it's carbonated. I got the impression from various folks

here that flavored water wasn't an option...it had to be plain ol'

water.

If the flavored stuff is okay, then I'm good to go! So, is it or

isn't it? I could even dilute this stuff with more water and still

drink it.

What about Gatorade's Propel Fitness Water?? It's water with a slight

fruit flavor. I think it has 15 or 20 calories in a bottle, but I bet

it's better for you that soda (all that acid and dye and stuff)
