Hi Dort...

Thank you for your post and your understanding. I felt awful for you that you are dragging through the hours at night just to have to start the day pretty much the same way. When I was diagnosed with CFS, I had the fatigue really bad back then... before I got into any treatment. There are plenty of nights I just don't even want to go to sleep knowing I have to start the ritual again the next day or go through the same challenges. Other times it's easier.. there's no telling.

We've had a very long span of dry warm weather now getting some rain.. so I'll hope along with you that the your weather cooperates to give you some relief. Thank goodness for the PC right?????gentle hugs to you... Ariadne

Hi Ariadne,,,

I don't have a day without whole body pain anymore... I can't remember the last time I was free of pain :o( But I'm so use to it that to me that is normal... The sharp pains only come once in a while now, as my Dr. put me on Plaqunil... They give it to me when my SLE is out of remission, but it does Wonders for the fibromyalgia, that it allows me to be able to go through the day without the tears going down my face when hurting so bad... When my Grand daughters see the tears going down my face, (as sometimes I really don't realize it) They'll ask, "Why you crying Mama" I just tell them that I Love them so much that its Happy Tears!!! It satifies them :o) Its hard for me to distinguish one illness from another anymore, they all seem to go together... I suffer with:

1-Fibromyalgia--F.M.S.

2-Chronic Fatigue Syndrome--C.F.S

3-Systematic Lupus Erthematosis--S.L.E.

4-Mitral Valve Prolapse--M.V.P.

5-Hypothyroidism

6-Hyatal Hernia

7-Acid Reflux--(Gerd)

8-Migrains

9-Poly Neuropathy

10-Osteoporosis

11-Osteoarthritis

12-Hypertention

13-Degenerative Arthritis in head,neck, shoulders,

spinal column, arms

14-Restless Leg Syndrome

15-Hypoglycymia

16-Irritable Bowel Syndrome--I.B.S.

17-Arrthymia's-P.B.C’s--P.A.C’s--Ventricular Tachycardia-One

other I don’t remember the name of, I'm told I

have an electrical problem :o)

18-Emphysema

19-Myofacial Pain Syndrome--M.P.S.

20-Polymyalgia

21-T.M.J.

WHAT HAS HAPPENED:

Blind in Left Eye--eye accident-age 3

Rheumatic Fever--almost died-age 17

Pericarditis--almost died-age 17

Light Stroke-age 27

Goiter Bad--almost died-age 28

Full Hysterectomy-age 40

Gall Bladder out Diseased--almost died-age 48

Anemic twice real bad

Its not crazy in my book that your kitty's keep you going :o) Animals are such a comfort t so many, me included, to help us through the bad times... They are Always there for us and don't talk back to us, telling us to Get Over It!!! They take us for what we are!

Glad your doing somewhat better... How are you today???

Hi Helen...

First of all I'm so sorry you're in such agony. Who would think that getting a nights decent rest would be such a luxury...but I do understand for different reasons. My heart goes out to you for enduring that suffering. Yes,. I agree and that's what I was hoping for.. that others would tell me what they are dealing with. It helps to get my mind off of my own situation and realize and to interact with people also putting up the good fight. When my fibromyalgia was very bad I was in agony also. There was no peace from that pain. My case was different because of my chemical injury resulting in chemical sensitivities. My pain was triggered by the need to have a more "healthy house".. and nutritional changes. As crazy as it may sound my cats keep me going. I used to do rescue work so I really need to have some felines in the house. Sometimes I feel lacking in being as good a cat caregiver-ha.. but I adore them and they keep me sane. But when I get really sick like this past week or so.. it gets scary and is depressing because not only is it h*** but also going downhill in your health is upsetting. I haven't had the asthma for 6 years and all of sudden this past month wham! But with the hot, dry weather and getting so run down taking care of every else needs I really went into some kind of denial about the necessity of taking care of myself. Today my breathing was better so consequently I am in a better mood. Thank you for writing and caring. Wishing you a feather bed kind of comfy rest somehow :) wirh pain free Hugs... Ariadne
