Guest guest Posted July 2, 2004 Report Share Posted July 2, 2004 Thanks Helen for update on you;I figured that you were busy or sick again cause didnt see you again for a bit; I pray that the headaches stay away now;; & you take care ;dont get too tired;but sounds like you already are with all that is going on with you;; Happy to hear that Bre is doing so well & that the girls seem to be having a fun summer so far;except for the dentist; Im sure they dont enjoy that very much;Best wishes for you on the mamogram; hope that all turns out A;OK with that;Been busy here also;; I should say Tom has been;; He has both of our decks built now;did it after his other jobs at night; They look really nice;; Now he will start on the garage one of these days;so nice to be able to walk out of my kitchen out of the slider onto the back deck; The front one is off the front from the living room;;My neck & shoulders haVE been much better not been going into spsams for a bit now; but stays sore; but I can handle this;; maybe cause it has been dryer lately; we had so much rain for awhile but now we could use some again;; the clay gets like rock when dry;;They say maybe tomorrow & possibly Sun the 4th; I hope it dont on Sun cause we are going to my girl Vicky for a burger fry ;All my kids & grandkids; The kids hope for nice weather so they can swim in Vickys pool;;They all miss ours from the old place..They would come almost every day when it was hot;but this year the mosquitoes are so bad there in the woods ;so far havent seen any here ;maybe a stray once in awhile;; but the Japenese Beetles are starting now;; They luv the trees & plants;Im still trying to get used to these darn teeth;; My advice to those who have their own;; keep them as long as you can;;I didnt have a choice anymore;; Was my last resort;; I still have problems eating with them; at least hard things;;at least I have my own bottom; I hear those are harder yet to get used to;We have been going to a few high school graduation open houses too for my nephews etc; & my grandaughters boyfriends last week;;Have a nice 4th & a safe one;; hope that your weather is good too; for the zoo day;; Take care; Luv & Hugs to you & your family DORT -- Hello All Hello to Everyone, Sorry for being gone again... For four days I had a terrible migrain ( Have had 3 dentists appointments for the girls, all three have to go back (, a DR's. appointment for Bre, she's doing great ) , a week of Bible School for the girls, they had a ball, two days a week for the girls at the reading program at the library for the next six weeks, they really like that ) A family birthday picnic last weekend, a fourth picnic Fri. night plus fire works up town, the zoo on Sunday, (With storms coming in:o( ) I was Supposed to go get my follow up mammogram in the morning (Fri) as six months ago they seen a mass forming they said and considered it a suspicious area on the right, (I just went through this all last year on the left side) so they called to confirm my appointment and all was fine, but then she asked about insurance and I told her we still have the same i think, only ythe did send us new cards, so i told her what was on it and I Can't go to Toledo Hospital anymore for tests or as a patient !!! Almost All my records are there!!! So I was on the phone for over an hour this morning trying to get this mess figured out and I will be going to St. Lukes now instead, as I have to have my mammograms read at the time of them being taken for some reason... Which is fine with me, St. Lukes is closer to my place ) So will be able to go next week as I was suppose to have it done now for a follow up... I figured I have to wait a few months again... This Grama is very tired out!!! I'm not used to all this running around and it is taking its toll... This week (after this weekend) things sholdn't be as hectic for at leadt another week, then dentist appointments start again for the girls... So CATCH me up on whats going on please!!! I've been trying to scan through the emails, but they are too overwhelming (too many) ) so forgive me... I'll try and catch up best I can in a day or two here... All take care... how ya doing??? Have to make sure there are none in the house at night or they eat ya alive... We live near oak openings and woods all around us... With all the rain we had earlier in the spring, has given us hoards of them... I'm in the country so I don't have the luxury of the town spraying them... Haven't been feeling up to par this last week again, but enjoyed going out... My BIL was admitted to the hospital about 3 days ago, found out he is in congestive heart failure as is my FIL... My Brother had a stroke, he's 54 ( My Aunt is struggling with breast cancer and going through radiation again, her children insisted as she didn't want too... Hubby's cousin is dying of colon cancer... In the last 7 months we have lost 5 family members, we're close to losing 2 more soon ( its been one heck of a year ( Hubby's BP is terribly high, sugars at least are under 200 most of the time now... Doc said he's a walking time bomb for a massive heart attack and or stroke and that worry's me constantly ( My BP went up last night, it was 154/104 just wasn't feeling too well, my heart medication has been doubled... My BP med was up'd also... I have to go back to the dentist next Wednesday and get another tooth pulled, its becoming abscessed, this SLE has totally robbed me of my teeth ( I never had anything wrong with my teeth till I got Lupus, now I have lost so many because of it ( All three girls (grand daughters) were on the honor roll this quarter so that is some Good news! ) They will come home in 3 weeks for Christmas vacation, so that will give me a rest for the running back and forth each day, that is very tiring to me... Sorry for not answering emails like I should be, have been very busy and a lot on my mind, and just not feeling well... We have a storm heading in Fri, so of course that makes the aches and pains worse... But all in all things could be worse :o/ I'll pick myself up tomorrow and go on, just having a pity party tonight... Sorry just needed to vent myself tonight... Sorry you have been having it so rough this year ( How is hubby doing??? Wow you do have a big family... I have 6 brothers and sisters, 14 nieces and nephews and 22 great nieces and nephews, plus friends that I give to each year, but I make all their presents... I start in Jan. and usually get finished the day before our family Christmas party... Last year I made 38 memory quilts and 22 raggedy Ann and Andy dolls, this year it wasn't as intense, i got lazy and made house purses for the little girls, jean purses for the older girls, marble bags for the boys and wall clocks with family picture in them for the adults... And this is just for My side of the family, its not counting my husbands side I make for... Instead of taking all 12 months this year to get everything done, like last year, it took less than 2 months... I doubt I get any baking done this year, have been having a bad Nov and Dec so far, will see if girls will help grama, surthey will, maybe we'll get a few things done... Post when your able too...
